New post by Mark Waish at Online Media Daily states,
"'Mobile phones will increasingly become the glue that holds the social graph together, offering creative tools and immediacy, presence, location, and context when interacting with the real world,' states the Forrester report ('Why Mobile Could Reinvent Social Computing'), authored by analyst Thomas Husson.'"
The report acknowledges that many brands are still trying to figure out or refine their social media strategy online. So why should these companies even bother with a fragmented market like mobile social networking/mobile marketing solutions?
"The probable answer is that only those with a youth audience should decide to experiment judiciously," according to Forrester. But the report also underscores that mobile potentially offers marketers a trove of user data for targeting consumers wherever they go."
We at Neighborhood America agree.
